About Bruce R. Freedman
His passion is to help others in any way that he can. With knowledge and extensive experience in estate planning, probate, corporate law, contracts, health care law, and more, Mr. Dakroub is constantly striving to make sure that his clients receive the absolute best legal services and prides himself on maintaining the highest standards of quality, integrity, and trustworthiness. Mr. Dakroub has received a Certificate of Completion in the areas of probate and estate planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan. He is also a WealthCounsel Member.
Bruce continues to serve as a trial attorney, aggressively litigating complex commercial, business, insurance, banking, personal injury, bankruptcy and estate/probate matters, as well as handling litigation matters in state and federal courts.Bruce also consults related to a variety of business management and marketing matters. Bruce has also had the opportunity to handle and resolve multiple million-dollar personal injury and business related disputes.
Professionally, Bruce served as the Chairman of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Akron Bar Association. He volunteers his legal services to Community Legal Aid, Volunteer Legal Services and Operation Legal Help Ohio providing pro bono services to America's veterans. As a result of his commitment to assist his clients wherever he is needed Bruce has had the opportunity to represent clients from across the United States throughout all areas of Ohio.
Outside of the legal profession Bruce has served on numerous nonprofit Boards of Trustees, serving in a leadership capacity on many. These have included Blick Clinic, Sumner Home for the Aged, Jewish Family Service, Lighthouse Academy and the Akron Civic Theater.
Bruce is a proud graduate of Miami University and The Ohio State University College of Law. As an undergraduate Bruce was Vice-President for Academic Affairs of Associated Student Government, an Outstanding Greek Senior, and named to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. After a stellar but brief career in retailing he attended law school, during which he served as the University Court Magistrate and President of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.
Bruce was honored at hooding with mention as an outstanding member of his graduating class. Bruce is admitted to practice in the state of Ohio and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
