$555 Flat fee bankruptcy from Fairmax Law™

So if you’ve been driving around the metro Detroit area, the Cleveland Area, or Akron, Ohio and seeing yellow billboards advertising for bankruptcy as low as $555, you are seeing advertising by Fairmax Law™, a Service of Jaafar Law Group PLLC.

How can we do bankruptcies for as low as $555?

There are many excellent Bankruptcy attorneys around the country, and one should never make a decision to hire an attorney solely on price. If you are considering bankruptcy, it is crucial to be comfortable with the attorney your retain. If it costs a little more to retain a local attorney that you are comfortable with, you should definitely do it.

In our firm, we pride ourselves on hard work. And the fact is that our attorneys have represented thousands of clients filing bankruptcy, and we advertise that low price because our goal is to help people at a bargain price.

Our founder is Michael Jaafar, and you may recognize his name because he has appeared over 100 times on the radio to be interviewed about debt relief, and he’s been interviewed over 30 times on Fox2 News regarding the same subject. Dating back to 2009, he has been a frequent contributor to FOX 2 News on the topics of debt relief, bankruptcy law. You can still see the videos streaming online if you go to FOX 2 News’ website, or just type his name into Google.

More importantly, the clear majority of our clients only pay between $555 or $597 in attorney fees for a solo chapter 7 bankruptcy, and a little more for a joint chapter 7 bankrputcy. Our attorney fees include all of our work to prepare the bankruptcy petition, review the clients financial situation, make sure the petition is prepared accurately, file it, and attend the 341 meeting of creditors. The fee does not include any out of pocket costs, or any reaffirmation agreements that must be prepared/reviewed after the case is filed. And the fee does not include the filing fee  that you pay to the government, if that applies. But if you’re beneath a certain amount of income, we can even help you waive that fee for no extra charge. And if you are above a certain amount of income and I required to pay that fee, then the judge presiding over the case might allow you to pay it in installments after the case is filed.

Also, if your bankruptcy is complicated or if you own a business or you have a significant amount of assets, we may have to decline your case at the $555 price point. But even then, we will work with you on a fair and reasonable fee.

The reason we advertise our fee on billboards is to show our customers confidence that we have and what we do; to show them that we have nothing to hide, and that we are very transparent about our fees. If you are considering filing bankruptcy, you are already in a very stressful place in your life. And the last thing you need is an attorney to rush you off the phone when you ask them what they charge.

Some people try to get advice from attorneys over the phone, only to be told that they have to come and visit the attorney in person before they can quote them a price; and that the price will vary based on what they have.

But why does it have to be that way? We believe that everyone should be able to receive a free consultation with an attorney over the phone, and should know the price before they come visit our offices. And we only believe in changing the price after a client comes to the office if their case turns out to be more complicated after a thorough analysis of factors unknown to our firm in the initial telephone conversation. And in our experience, this happens very rarely.
